Treadmill Training

We have seen over and over again that a well-exercised dog is a well-behaved dog, however a regular walk is not enough. Treadmill training for dogs provides a complete muscle enhancing, toning and fitness regime that not only improves the overall health and vitality for your dog, but helps him curb destructive behavioral problems, increases life span and prevents obesity.
The treadmill is highly effective for any type of dog as it is ideal to continue the fitness program when the weather outside is not permitting. Owners who have a high energy dog (which results in a badly behaved dog because energy levels aren’t being exerted) can use the treadmill on a regular basis, achieving drastic results in your dog’s attitude, thus decreasing barking, biting and chewing.

Doga
Doga is a partner exercise. It is all about bonding with your pet, giving him 30 - 60 minutes of undivided attention and praise. While the therapeutic effects of practicing yoga with a dog seems very limited to the physical, this is not the case. The calming effects and bonding experience between you and your dog will bring you to new levels of understanding and companionship.
“The dog feels the way you feel.” says Suzi Teitelman a doga teacher and the Director of Yoga for Crunch Fitness NYC. “Doga is for all dogs: Old dogs, young dogs, sick and healthy. Nothing can stop a dogi! All dogs do doga instinctualy, and what we are doing, is bringing more out of each other: going deeper, getting happier, and loving more. Dogs are naturally in a state of awareness, totally present in each moment, and willing to let go. We have a lot to learn from a dog, and being present and aware is one of them.”
Kinetic K9 is VERY excited to bring this option to yogis and dogis. Imagine your morning yoga routine before work each day. Now imagine having your dog with you for this session. Stretching
At Kinetic K9, we believe that dogs are canine athletes. They are just like runners, gymnasts, basketball and football players, etc....We ask our dogs to domany different activities, either competitively or just for fun, that require a high level of physical conditioning, yet almost never give them the warm-up and/or cool-down period that is essential in any athletes training routine. Just as all human athletes know, stretching is an essential part of their program. The same is true for dogs.
Kinetic K9 can assist with some great stretches designed just for your dog and help to make his fitness routine safe and complete.
MASSAGE

MassageA gentle massage gives your dog comfort as well as aiding the nervous system and increasing circulation. Just as in people, dog massage techniques can vary greatly and assist in a wide range of treatments. Some of our massage types available are; Relaxation, Deep Tissue and Therapeutic. Our massage service is not designed to take the place of important medical treatments.

12 hr. overnite stay $75
Includes 12 hr. overnite stay with an additional afternoon visit mid-way through the day; newspaper/mail pick-up, lights on (pm) and off (am), plants watered.
