I've always believed in keeping dogs healthy, happy and well behaved through exercise therapy and positive reinforcement. I'll never use negative punishment as a tool. In my experience, harsh training techniques, such as shock collars, prong collars and physical punishment, cause dogs to behave out of fear. Wouldn't you rather have a dog that obeys out of trust and love rather than one that behaves because he is afraid of you? I'll teach you how to correct behavior problems as they happen in a positive, loving manner. Put this technique to the test and you'll see just how great a structured exercise & training program, coupled with positive reinforcement and consistency, can be. Basic training, behavior problems, health issues, or just for fun, I'm here to help you and your dog!
On top of using exercise to work through behavior issues, it is a great way to keep your dog in shape. Our country has an obesity epidemic when it comes to our pets. Be it medical problems, lack of exercise or literally "killing them with kindness" (with over feeding and giving excessive treats), our dogs need to lose weight. Obesity in dogs can lead to diabetes, damage to joints, bones & ligaments, heart disease & increased blood pressure, difficulty in breathing, decreased stamina, heat intolerance, liver disease, digestive disorders, decreased immune systems, skin and coat problems, increased risk of cancer and most importantly, decreased quality and length of life. Lets help your dog with his behavior issues and greatly enhance his quality of life at the same time.
